Sending flowers to someone in another town is easy until you need to know the details: is the hospital ward flower-free, what is the rest home called, when is the funeral and where should the flowers go?

We built flowers24.co.nz to answer those questions for New Zealand. Every town page lists the hospitals, rest homes, funeral homes and cemeteries we could confirm, together with local notes such as shows, festivals and rural delivery.

How we check the facts

Each fact on the site comes from a source we can point to: Health New Zealand and hospital pages, council cemetery pages, Stats NZ population figures, Te Papa and Te Ara for cultural dates, and the facilities' own websites. The sources are listed at the bottom of every page. When a hospital has not published a rule on flowers, we say so instead of guessing.

Who delivers the flowers

We do not arrange or deliver flowers ourselves. The order buttons take you to an online florist where you choose a bouquet, and a local florist makes and delivers it. How your flowers are made follows that chain from the grower to the front door.
